Conversational Search Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled
Conversational Search Expert
to join our team. As a key member of our search architecture, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced search systems that provide effortless insights extraction from data.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building search systems using technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, or vector databases. They will understand information retrieval fundamentals, query optimization, and relevance tuning, with a strong focus on AI augmentation of search.
We value excellent communication skills, the ability to convey complex search architectures to product teams, and articulate query performance vs. relevance tradeoffs. You will also be a strong storyteller to get buy-in from other teams.
Your expertise in managing complex search infrastructure, optimizing indexing pipelines, and providing reasonable performance estimates is essential. Additionally, you should have experience teaching others, mentoring junior team members, and improving their decision-making around search architecture.
