**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are seeking a Trademark Assistant to join our leading Trademarks team based in Melbourne.

This is a part-time on-going position, minimum 3 days per week, based in our Melbourne Office. This position would ideally suit a first or second year law student, who is keen to gain excellent work experience alongside their studies, in a top tier corporate law firm.

**The role**:
You will be responsible for a particular area of the Trademark Administration group, including associated file management tasks. This is a business critical role and requires excellent attention to detail. You will liaise with trademark lawyers, clients, foreign associates/agents and the offices of IP Australia, IPONZ and WIPO.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent data entry and administration skills
- Impeccable time management and organisational skills
- Eagerness to learn and a 'can do' positive attitude
- Desire to work in a top tier Corporate Law firm
- Commitment to an on-going part-time position.
