We are seeking a passionate HR Professional to join one of our clients located in Canberra.

**About the role**:
The position of Human Resources Officer sits within the Workplace and Performance Branch and is primarily responsible
- for being a first point of contact for various HR matters
- Coordinate and provide client support with talent attraction
- recruitment
- onboarding
- learning and development programs and staff separation
- Drafting and advertising jobs
- sitting on interview panels
- onboarding new staff
- progressing probationary processes
- administering learning and development programs
- assisting with delivering Council's annual training plan
- supporting with annual performance appraisals
- delivering talent engagement projects
- conducting exit interviews
- providing general HR advice and support to our business clients.

**About you**:

- we are seeking a personable individual
- passionate about human resource management with a strong proficiency in administration and developing professional relationships.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in human resource management is desirable.
