
HR Manager

The Assistant Director will play a crucial role in coordinating the delivery of all HR management functions, including payroll, WH&S, performance, policy development and implementation, reporting and process management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing provision of quality HR services and programs
- Providing support and advice to executive stakeholders and staff on HR management strategies, workforce planning and Enterprise Agreement
- Providing high-level strategic advice and policy direction on HR issues such as performance, payroll, WH&S, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development
- Overseeing HR policies, programs, and procedures are aligned to divisional priorities and objectives
- Conducting extensive stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally
- Leading the implementation of best practice approaches to develop capabilities and increase operational effectiveness
Requirements for success include:
- High level initiative, judgement, and leadership skills
- Ability to provide high level advice on complex matters to senior stakeholders
- Manage and prioritise large volumes of work and contribute to process improvements
- High level decision making skills and ability to solve complex issues
- Collaborative and high level interpersonal skills in managing diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience
