**Job Opportunity for HR Specialist**

This is a permanent position available for an HR Specialist to work in Canberra. As a key member of the National HR team, you will provide support and coordination across various HR functions, including employee lifecycle, relations, training, recruitment, and administration.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage employee onboarding, transfers, and separations
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on employee conflicts and issues
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training programs and traineeship contracts
  • Recruitment: Assist with recruitment processes, including screening and suitability checks
  • Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the HR Manager and Secom Directors
  • HRIM Management: Manage the Human Resource Information Management system

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Qualifications in business, majoring in HR or similar
  • Demonstrated understanding of Industrial Relations Law
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to obtain knowledge of Industrial Relations and Workers Compensation across multiple jurisdictions
  • Willingness and ability to obtain a Baseline clearance or similar
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
