About the Role
**Responsibilities include**:
- Lead the development and review of organisational change management strategy and associated plans to enable the effective implementation of a range of significant change management initiatives. (SFIA Level 5 - CIPM)
- Consult with multiple broad and diverse senior management stakeholders to identify and define the changes to processes, procedures and practices needed to achieve change and deliver planned benefits.
- Lead the identification of potential risks and issues, and develop innovative strategies and solutions that support the implementation of employee focused change management.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships, formal arrangements and strategic partnerships with clients and stakeholders to assess the readiness of the organisation, ensuring a strong commitment to change management. (SFIA Level 5 - RLMT)
- Create specific change management plans, including communications and training plans to lead employees through structured change management activities so there is consistency in adopting change for every employee, project team and work unit. (SFIA Level 5 - CHMG)
- Develop project artefacts that support change management activities, such as communications and learning reference material
- Work within established parameters to measure effectiveness of change initiatives through the provision of performance intelligence, including benchmarking data that informs future directions and to support executive decision making.
- Diagnose gaps in the implementation of change and develop strategies to identify corrective action required to achieve full adoption for the change.
- Participate in project and various working groups, boards, forums, committees and working parties to ensure stakeholder interests are effectively represented, while integrating change methodology and strategy to encourage acceptance of change.
- Contribute to the continued development of an organisational change management capability, including supporting the maintenance of the OCM Framework, methods and tools, within the Information and Technologies Branch context and across the department to sustain and improve ICT enabled projects.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
