About the Role
- Work collaboratively to provide a high-quality, coordinated and customer-focused liaison and option management service to patients and staff. Source appropriate data, complete data entry and generate reports from relevant systems, to ensure all applicable costs are attributed to patients electing to be treated as a fee-paying patient. Review admissions on a daily basis and follow up potential fee-paying patients at ward level to ensure patients have been properly presented with their classification option as specified by the Health Insurance Act and ensure necessary documentation and liaison is undertaken (with doctor, ward staff and health funds). Respond to complex customer enquiries and problem-solve accordingly.
