Patient Liaison Officer Role: We are seeking a skilled professional to identify and discuss with privately insured patients the benefits of choosing to be admitted as a private patient.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Identifying and discussing with privately insured patients the benefits of choosing to be admitted as a private patient.
- Coordinating the completion and signing of necessary forms for Health Fund and Medicare claims.
- Liaising with clinical staff and admission staff to convey client preferences.
- Liaising with patients and/or representatives to ensure adequate insurance coverage for individual services received and smooth billing processes, providing ongoing support to resolve any issues.
- Exploring revenue opportunities and investigating initiatives to increase service revenue in accordance with Queensland Health financial policies and procedures.
