**The role**

Mineral Resources Training System team is expanding and we are seeking an experienced Data Officer to support the ongoing growth for our Training operations.

The Data officer will be reporting directly to the Training Systems specialist and your primary responsibilities are to complete both regular auditing and configuration work, as well as larger project work at the direction of the team lead. You will be a key driver part of the Training and Compliance team providing a high level of resources to to innovate, improve and implement various practices and systems, such as

**Key responsibilities**:

- Validating and auditing rows of data and attached resources at the direction of your team lead.
- Facilitation, response, and liaison to client requested configuration changes or queries.
- Development of client requested resources and reporting extracted from various systems.
- Approaching and engaging with clients of varying roles to ensure the most effective implementation and maintenance of various training systems.
- Tracking of various processes that occur involving the maintenance of resources and systems.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Minimum of 2 or more-years' experience in a data related field OR 2 or more years' experience with INX or similar platform
- Experience using training related systems.
- Experience with various INX modules, specifically InTuition
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially:

- Excel: use of Power Query for data transformation, use of Pivot Tables.
- Word: review tracking and commentary, use of various formatting features.
- An exposure to statistics or data driven strategy and direction.
- Initiative to undertake and manage independent work.
- Working cooperatively: able to follow direction and collaborate with a larger team.
- Ability to 'code switch' between technical and colloquial interactions; working with the technicality of systems but also communicating the necessary details to clients and wider team members.
- Passion for data, process and system accuracy and efficiency; understanding the implications of the prior for users of systems.
