Generous employee discount schemes and salary sacrifice options.Close knit team with a great culture.Training and support to help you achieve professional goals.The Opportunity:Due to a long, strong and ongoing pipeline of work we are ungently seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants for the positions of qualified Flooring Installer within our Queensland Trades team who will be required to work on a wide range of residential projects.
You will be working from either Joii Limited Brisbane office or Joii Limited regional office Deebing Heights QLD.Essential skills needed:Qualification or 3+ years' experience in floor finishing.Expertise knowledge of current flooring requirements.Ability to manage own time and others to meet agreed timeframe and projects.Able to work on tasks autonomously.Construction OHS card (white card) (we will help you obtain this).
Supply & maintain own commercial grade tools, noting a tool maintenance allowance is included in the salary package).
Provide own vehicle to get themselves and their tools to site.Tasks include:Measuring areas to be covered and consulting plans to estimate quantities of floor covering materials required.Preparing surfaces for covering and removing baseboard trimsMeasuring, cutting, and fixing underlay materials.Laying coverings, such as carpets, linoleum, parquetry blocks, cork tiles and other resilient flooring materials, over floors, matching patterns, cutting shapes around fixtures and trimming edges.Securing floor coverings and fitting edge trims in doorways.Sanding, staining, and applying finishing coatings to timber floors.May install wall, ceiling, counter, and bench coverings.About You:Able to work unsupervised and part of a team.Able to follow instructions.Hard working and reliable.Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines.About Joii:Joii undertakes various trade work for businesses throughout Queensland.
