Wall and Floor Tiler Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team for existing and upcoming projects in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area.

About the Role:

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in laying tiles as per customer order/specifications, patterns, layouts. They will be responsible for preparing job sites by measuring, marking out areas, and arranging tiles in patterns as per work orders. Cutting tiles to required sizes and shapes using relevant tools is also an essential part of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lay tiles according to customer specifications and designs
  • Prepare job sites by measuring, marking out areas, and arranging tiles
  • Cutting tiles to required sizes and shapes
  • Work with different types of tiles such as travertine, porcelain, limestone, ceramic, and mosaic
  • Clean, prep, and prime walls and floors for tile installation
  • Install waterproofing systems on designated surfaces if required

Qualification/Skills Required:

  • A Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to follow design plans accurately

Benefits:

This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary package ranging from $76,000 to $80,000 per year.
