Turner installs Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Flooring installer/flooring trainee/labourer to join our team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in the installation of flooring materials for our valued clients. As part of our highly skilled trades team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, gaining valuable experience and developing your expertise.
What you'll be doing
- Accurately measuring and cutting flooring materials to specification
- Preparing and levelling subfloors in preparation for installation
- Carefully installing a variety of flooring types, including hardwood, laminate, and vinyl
- Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the installation process
- Participating in team meetings and collaborating with other trades professionals
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in the installation of residential or commercial flooring, or a willingness to learn as a flooring trainee
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Excellent time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
