Job Title:
Community Resilience Manager
Key Responsibilities
Manage and facilitate the development of community initiatives to enhance resilience in impacted and high-risk townships, schools, and community groups within the shire.
Support recovery efforts following emergency events by collaborating with stakeholders, consultants, and the community to build resilience.
Prepare project documentation, quarterly reports, and financial acquittal reports as required for externally funded projects.
Undertake data analysis, monitoring, and evaluation processes to ensure the effectiveness of community resilience programs.
Requirements
Ability to analyze community needs in emergency preparedness, relief, and recovery, and experience in developing community plans.
Implementation of community engagement, community resilience, and capacity-building projects.
Strong communication skills, including persuasive oral and written skills, to influence and work at all levels of an organization.
Knowledge of community needs and existing community and stakeholder relationships within the municipality.
