Job Description:The role of the Community Resilience Specialist is to empower communities through loss and grief education. This involves delivering impactful training programs that promote learning and recovery.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate projects aligned with key milestones to achieve community resilience goals.
- Build strong relationships with schools, councils, and community organisations to deliver effective support services.
- Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing consultation and support to foster a culture of resilience.
- Collect and analyse feedback to inform continuous improvement and reporting initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in education, health, or a related field.
- Experience in disaster recovery or trauma-informed practice is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
- Understanding of Aboriginal culture and commitment to culturally safe practice is crucial.
This is a hybrid work environment with some travel required.
