This role offers an opportunity to play a key part in building and fostering residential life within a student accommodation setting. You will be responsible for providing leadership and support to residents to ensure they maintain a good balance between their studies and personal lives, while also offering assistance throughout their academic journey.
About the Role:- Provide guidance and support in the development and implementation of the Residential Life Program.
- Collaborate with the Residential Life Manager to design, implement, and manage the Community Spirit Program.
- Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruit, train, and manage the Residential Advisor team.
- Maintain resident wellbeing.
- Participate in the emergency response team during shift times and after hours as required.
- Australia work visa or equivalent.
- National Police Check or willing to obtain.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Wellbeing and mental health knowledge.
- Previous experience in budget management for events.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Competency in MS Publisher, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to resolve conflicts in diverse environments.
- Ability to develop new ideas and engaging events, then formulate plans to deliver them.
- First Aid certification.
- Ability to research and develop evidence-based programs and policies.
