Residential Life Coordinator

This role offers an opportunity to play a key part in building and fostering residential life within a student accommodation setting. You will be responsible for providing leadership and support to residents to ensure they maintain a good balance between their studies and personal lives, while also offering assistance throughout their academic journey.

About the Role:
  • Provide guidance and support in the development and implementation of the Residential Life Program.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Life Manager to design, implement, and manage the Community Spirit Program.
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the Residential Advisor team.
  • Maintain resident wellbeing.
  • Participate in the emergency response team during shift times and after hours as required.
Requirements:
  • Australia work visa or equivalent.
  • National Police Check or willing to obtain.
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • Wellbeing and mental health knowledge.
  • Previous experience in budget management for events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Competency in MS Publisher, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to resolve conflicts in diverse environments.
  • Ability to develop new ideas and engaging events, then formulate plans to deliver them.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Ability to research and develop evidence-based programs and policies.
