**About the job**
This is a unique opportunity for a B2B, wholesale, or ecommerce account executive to own and scale the new B2B channel of a
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand. As the Wholesale Account
Executive, you will drive the commercial activities and brand's sales in the B2B, offline and B2B marketplace channels. You will work directly with the brand's management team to execute on this strategy.
About the role:
- Maintain, develop and foster relationships with wholesale customers, retailers and distributors across ANZ
- Complete P&L responsibility for the wholesale P&L in ANZ, and daily management of the brand's B2B/offline sales functions, including monitoring budgets and problem solving issues
- Find and acquire new distribution outlets through research, outreach and ranging submissions
- Plan and drive the execution of B2B trade marketing promotions and events
- Provide exemplary customer service to existing customers
- Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to ensure stock efficiencies, despatch and delivery
- Prepare and lead regular reporting and trade meetings to review B2B sales performance with management teams
- Develop new partners and strategic initiatives for channel growth
- Be part of a small team in Australia, working closely with our HQ in Singapore
Your profile:
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- An ability to deliver growth and win new markets in the B2B,
FMCG or CPG space, with experience in the home & living category a plus
- Excellent communication skills, influencing and negotiating, and an ability to build strong rapport with partners
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity while working with integrity
- Outstanding organisational skills and experience in effectively coordinating projects across multiple departments
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Strong entrepreneurial drive, is a self-starter who takes initiative and is resourceful, and has an executional focus with a "can do" attitude
- Based in Sydney and willing and able to work flexibly (WFH and attend the office on a weekly basis)
