**Your Role**
This is a
**Team Leader, People Assist** role where you will manage the People Connect advisors to support, guide, advise and coach employees through people policy, process, and systems that is considerate of the people experience and enables a purpose led, high performance culture across Australia and New Zealand. This role manages a team of advisors in a call centre environment. The advisors receive a high volume of requests in which you will have to manage and delegate effectively.
You will build close relationships with diverse professionals in a Tiered Service Model. You will enjoy the challenge of continuously improving the system processes. There will be ample opportunities to support and develop many of IAG's functions.
**ABOUT YOU -**- You will have minimum of 3 years contact centre team leader experience.- You will have knowledge of employment relations frameworks and employment legislation.- You will have strong verbal and written communication skills.- You will work with the Manager, People Connect to enable the People Assist Team to deliver an effective and efficient people advisory service.- You will manage daily workloads for the team and delegate or allocate as necessary across the team to ensure optimal service delivery and the progression of additional other tasks as appropriate.- You will proactively identify business trends and identify areas of focus and engage customers to continue to improve the customer experience as measured by NPS.- You will plan and drive projects through the team to completion and embedment as appropriate.- You will provide day to day coaching of team members to build capability and competence, identify development opportunities, and work in conjunction with the Manager, People Connect to support and address as appropriate.
