Job Role

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support to the HR team across all areas of human resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support human resources initiatives and projects
  • Manage the HR inbox and act as the first point of contact for general HR queries
  • Assist in all human resources matters as directed by the Manager, HR
  • Manage employee life cycle activities, including onboarding new starters, managing probationary periods and supporting offboarding activities
  • Participate in the development of human resources programs such as culture initiatives, communication, recognition and retention initiatives
  • Provide assistance in reviewing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Assist with payroll administration
  • Generate human resources-related reports or data as required
  • Act as the primary contact on workplace health and safety matters, with escalations to the Manager, HR where required
Reporting Line

The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the Manager, HR.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary-qualified in Human Resource Management or related field desirable
  • At least 1 year of experience in an operational HR role
  • Ability to support change
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment highly desirable
  • Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proven experience with seeing projects through to completion
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • High level of attention to detail
