**CALLING ALL DISPATCH COORDINATORS**

We at Alliance have a great opportunity for Dispatch Coordinators to join our Client team

**Primary Purpose**:To manage a Rutherford site operations in the transportation of company products.

To plan, restructure and develop transport operations to meet agreed financial targets. Improve flexibility and productivity within this division to meet company expectation.

**Job Context**:
Maximize fleet loading, unloading and delivery of company product.

Reference to transport KPI's include: maintenance, agreed delivery target, IFOT and people management.

**Within this position you will need to;**
- Ensure the effective and efficient use of transport fleet through routine maintenance and servicing ensuring the programs are undertaken and reviewed on a regular basis, timely availability of products to maximise fleet loading and unloading.
- Maintain and implement systems to ensure accountability for transport fleet and equipment which is accurately reported, recorded, understood and accepted by all personnel. Ensure that effective corrective action is undertaken when deficiencies are identified.
- Recommend investment opportunities were identified to management regarding vehicles / equipment in line with business strategy and budgets.
- Work Order IFOT (in full on time)
- Effectively develop and maintain a process for the reduction of customer returns due to transportation faults.
- Ensure employee attendance is reviewed, reported and actioned where necessary. Introduce strategies for the management of unplanned absences and appropriate action of poor performing personnel.
- Be vigilant in ensuring transport personnel operate in accordance with the safety, health and environment policy, creating a real reduction in incidents and accidents through root cause analysis and continuous improvement programs.
- Implement and manage systems and practices to ensure compliance with all state and federal legislation and Nylex policies and procedures.
- Efficiently manage available resource to meet customer requirements, achieve transportation efficiencies and productivity.

**Typical Qualifications and Experience**

5-10 years' experience in transportation of product logistics. Good leadership and communication skills. Proven track record on running a transport operation, including, personnel, cost reductions, fleet efficiency, and downtime reduction.

**Compulsory Qualifications**
- Essential is a proven track record in effective people management including customer service and customer liaisons.

**Key Attributes/Competencies**
- Be an effective team member, good communication skills to all levels & cultures of the business, effective time management skills.
- Good planning with problem solving skills.
- Computer literacy in Myob, Word, and Excel would be beneficial.
