THE ROLE - WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE, LEAD & GROW
- This Regional Sales Manager role manages a team of 7 sales specialists, across VIC/TAS, to achieve defined net sales targets, by growing and retaining existing customer's accounts and growth of customer base (prospects) and the customer's utilisation of portfolio products. The position is in the dental channel and is to ensure the sales team operates within the parameters of behaviour and business practice as directed by the organisation.
- The role will plan, direct, and monitor the activities of the team and manage the day to day sales force activities to achieve sales targets and goals, through monitoring performance and initiate corrective actions to improve overall results.
- You will strengthen and build relationships with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organisation to actively promote dental products and build relationships with customers and KOL's.
- You will coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions and how to achieve sales targets and identify key accounts and ensure that your team establish high level relationships with decision makers.
- You will analyse regional market and competitor's products and provide market intelligence to Head of Marketing, Training Development & Support Manager and the Senior Management team and develop and deliver accurate monthly/annual forecasts and sales reports for VIC/TAS in this product portfolio.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE JOB
- University degree or other relevant qualification.
- A minimum experience of 5 years in a **dental sales** role with demonstrable current or very recent experience in **managing and leading a team, of at least 2 years**.
- Able to manage stakeholders in a project or in executing strategy.
- Able to cope with work pressure, fast pace and high expectations with excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Energetic, straight forward and performance driven professional with entrepreneurial spirit and strong execution abilities.
- Sense of urgency - ability to set priorities and goals, and to make decisions under explicit considerations of sustainable and profitable growth.
- Ability to energize others around common goals and to get things done.
- Ability to address business issues proactively through sales and marketing initiatives and collaboration.
- Experience, confidence and stature to effectively address senior-level issues.
