Our client is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. **About the role**:
Reporting to the Assistant Director Case Management, this role will see you manage a caseload of matters including at risk and vulnerable participants. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

- Undertake end to end case management of complex Administrative Appeals Tribual (AAT).
- Maintain a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical, detailed, professional, policy, operational support, and advice to complex, difficult, or sensitive issues.
- Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings conducted by the AAT.
- Preparing and building participant plans to reflect funded supports.
- Preparing documents detailing resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings
- Preparing and maintaining electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decision-making processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process

**Skills and experience required**:

- Previous case management experience, preferably, within the disability, legal, community services, and healthcare sector
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and care plan implementation skills
- Experience interpreating information and legislation to reach a sound agreed resolution.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict management skills across a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Passionate about working within the disability sector and positively improving the lives of individuals and their families.
- As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, only Australian Citizens need to apply
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment checks, including National Criminal History Check upon successful appointment
