Position OverviewThe Chef De Partie will bring new ideas to enhance guest experiences, work with kitchen staff to produce high-quality meals, and practice techniques like portion control, quality control, waste control, and product preparation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage your specific kitchen station, overseeing preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, conducting regular checks to ensure freshness, taste, and visual appeal.Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a harmonious kitchen environment.Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting and work seamlessly within a dynamic kitchen environment.Ensure the kitchen produces high-quality food at all times and attend to guest needs promptly.Prepare sauces, soups, and hot dishes for service and special events.Demonstrate strong recipe knowledge for all menu items.Monitor food storage to ensure proper techniques and cleanliness.Requisition appropriate food supplies according to hotel policies.Maintain knowledge of food products and comply with operational policies.The candidate should have experience in:Sashimi, communication, and advantageous experience in Tempura and Robata.Benefits and PerksIncredible team member discounts from day one.50% off stays at EVT hotels including Rydges, QT, Atura, LyLo, and more.Discounted movie tickets, Moonlight, Gold Class, Candy Bar, and others.Seasonal discounts at Thredbo.Opportunities for rapid career growth within EVT.
