Working alongside the publishing team and reporting to the Rights Manager, you will actively contribute to the focus and growth of the international rights and co-edition sales function, working collaboratively providing administration support, coordinating materials and events, and assisting with and managing defined territories.
- Key responsibilities include:

- Develop, review and implement plans to facilitate the sales of rights and co-editions in agreed territories in line with HGCP international sales strategy and under guidance from the Rights Manager
- Administrative support including fair coordination, contract review, publisher submissions/renewals and communication.
- Handle, review and maximise the value of permissions opportunities with local educational and commercial organisations

We're seeking an energetic, highly motivated team player who has a passion for children's books and an interest in the international publishing world. A great communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills, the role is perfect for someone who is highly organised and enjoys elements of deadline work that showcase your ability to adapt and deliver creative solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. A background in publishing is desirable, yet ultimately a demonstrable focus on being part of delivering Australian creators to the world is crucial to succeed in this role.
