Job Title: Traditional Rights Policy Lead
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in truth, treaty, self-determination, and cultural rights.
As a Traditional Rights Policy Lead, you will lead a small team of policy advisers and provide authoritative advice on policy matters related to Traditional Owner rights and interests.
Responsibilities include leading redress and self-determination policy development, ensuring alignment between legislation and future offers, and undertaking shadow policy work on government programs and reforms impacting Traditional Owners.
Key Requirements:
- Highly developed people management skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience in policy analysis and advice
- Excellent project management, planning, and organisational skills
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Experience in leading a team in an environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
About the Role:
We seek a Traditional Rights Policy Lead who can contribute to the ground-breaking work of our department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team and providing authoritative advice to senior executives and ministers on policy matters related to Traditional Owner rights and interests.
