The Role
Reporting to the Coordinator WasteProjects and Contracts, and based in Windsor NSW, the primary purpose of thisrole is to implement and manage litter prevention initiatives in alignment withCouncil's Litter Prevention Plan, Waste & Resource Recovery Strategy 2032,and Operational Plan, with a focus on education, enforcement, and stakeholderengagement to drive behaviour change and reduce littering in the Hawkesburyregion.
About You
You will have proven experience in implementingand managing effective solutions for litter prevention and waste managementchallenges. Your experience will extend to engaging and partnering withcommunity groups to reach tangible and beneficial outcomes. You willdemonstrate high attention to detail and analytical skills; you will haveexperience ensuring compliance with legislation and have the ability to produceaccurate reporting.
Essential Criteria
Experience in project management, includingplanning, implementation, and performance monitoring.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, withexperience working collaboratively with government agencies, business andcommunity groups.
Ability to collect, analyse and report data tosupport program evaluation and decision-making.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, withdemonstrated ability to manage data, reporting and presentations.
Demonstrated understanding of local governmentprocesses, services and systems.
Tertiary qualifications (Bachelors or Masters)in Business, Environmental Science, Waste Management, Behaviour Change, LocalGovernment, Education or a related field or demonstrated experience withinthese areas.
The right to live and work in Australia
Class C Drivers Licence
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Successful applicants will be required toundergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
