Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to implement and manage litter prevention initiatives in alignment with Council's strategies. This involves education, enforcement, and stakeholder engagement to drive behavior change and reduce littering in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective solutions for litter prevention and waste management challenges.
  • Engage and partner with community groups to reach beneficial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and produce accurate reporting.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to support program evaluation and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing litter prevention and waste management initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work collaboratively with government agencies and community groups.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field or demonstrated experience within these areas.
  • The right to live and work in Australia.
