We are seeking a proactive individual to lead our litter prevention initiatives in the Hawkesbury region.

The Role

You will be responsible for implementing and managing effective solutions for litter prevention and waste management challenges. This includes:

  • Developing and executing litter prevention strategies aligned with Council's Litter Prevention Plan.
  • Collaborating with community groups, stakeholders, and government agencies to drive behaviour change and reduce littering.
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting data to support program evaluation and decision-making.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in waste management and litter prevention, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated ability to manage data, reporting, and presentations.
  • Tertiary qualifications (Bachelors or Masters) in Business, Environmental Science, Waste Management, Behaviour Change, Local Government, Education, or a related field.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A valid Australian driver's licence.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
