**About the Role**:
The Specialist Reconciliation is accountable for calculating data reconciliations for waste volumes, coal uncovered and pit inventory balances, coal stockpile balances and port inventory balances and ensuring the necessary data adjustments are entered into BMA's Production Accounting system (Corvus). The role is also accountable for month end processing in Corvus and ensuring the accurate and timely transfer of production data into SAP. The Specialist Reconciliation also acts as a "data quality champion" and proactively monitors the production accounting system (Corvus) for data issues, investigates the root causes and supports stakeholders to resolve data issues. The role also has accountability for the day to day management of two Corvus Data Administrators, including management of weekly tasks and provision of Corvus knowledge as required.

Reporting to the Manager Data & Reporting, you will work in a team of passionate and diverse data professionals who together enable timely and informed decision making through trusted coal value chain data. You will also work closely with site spatial/survey teams, mine planners and Corvus data administrators. Experiences for the role include:

- Strong understanding of coal production accounting and reconciliation requirements for stockpile and inventory reporting (or experience with reconciliation of other data sets)
- Experience working with a production accounting system (Corvus or similar)
- Analytical / Investigative skills including the ability to identify the root cause of data issues and required solutions
- Understand the mining and logistics processes and the associated data for each process
- Ability to lead and influence stakeholders regarding best practice of data management / data quality
- Experience managing a small team

- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict EOM deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail with respect to data / numbers
- Conscientious nature towards data governance and data quality
- Confidence to raise data quality issues with stakeholders and to challenge the status quo
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with Corvus (or similar), 1SAP and Microsoft products (particularly excel)
- The ability to work as a team with other Data & Reporting team members
