Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial services processes. Your primary responsibility will be to complete assigned daily reconciliations with timeliness and quality of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reconciliation and settlement activities, identifying and investigating variances between General Ledger and supporting reports.
  • Prepare journals as required to facilitate financial services for projects, including data transfers between system interfaces and third-party agents.
  • Manage reconciliation issues until resolved, streamlining solutions and investigating discrepancies in reports where relevant.
  • Ensure GL balances and variances comply with business rules, KPIs, or conforming balance requirements.
  • Manage chargebacks, banking file analysis, third-party vendor reporting, patron refunds, and operator queries as assigned.
  • Provide variance analysis and aging information for assigned account balances.
Personal Requirements
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a multifaceted team, demonstrating high-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of investigatory skills, analytical and numerical abilities, and ability to develop customized reporting requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years accounting and reconciliation experience, with competent computer skills including accounting software.
  • Ability to concentrate, focus, and perform analyses, with excellent teamwork and time management skills to meet deadlines and KPIs.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently studying towards is desirable, with Power BI knowledge also highly valued.
  • Highly adept analytical and numerical skills, with ability to identify system process improvements and champion automation of reports.
