The Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning (Learning centre) designs, develops and delivers standardised core mental health skills training and resources for mental health clinicians and other mental health workers. Products include a range of face to face workshops, blended learning and courses that include both face to face and eLearning, and an accredited and nationally recognised training workshop. eLearning programs are made accessible via its website.

About the role
In this role you will use expert level knowledge and experience of contemporary research practices to guide and inform the development of the service and the development of key university and research collaborative relationships within tertiary research stakeholders. Provide advice and direction to the Director and the Research Manager using well developed knowledge and skills in the area of research, with a particular focus on contemporary approaches to research development.
About you
- Demonstrates ability to direct, lead and mentor other staff to effectively complete research, evaluation and project activities.
- Experience in leading high-level research projects using refined project management skills within a government-based training and education service setting (e.g. conducting a business needs analysis).
- Experience in the development of high level partnerships and formal relationships with research stakeholders.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
