Based in the Hills district of North-West Sydney we are the developers of the Codisto app which facilitates customers of the prime global web/e-commerce platforms to grow their sales through the world's major marketplace channels.

You are a passionate software engineer, having lead development teams to deliver apps and services that customers love. JavaScript and SQL are old friends of yours; occasionaly cursed but well understood and relied-upon. You can architect and design for security and you know how to design and write performant algorithms. You can manage CI/CD pipelines, design distributed system architectures and architect with recognised cloud patterns and preferred services. You are at home leading junior and senior developers, communicating with partners, technical liaisons and project stakeholders. You can mentor, and mediate when required, and champion a mission. You participate in code-reviews, sprint-planning, and lead estimation, design and ideation sessions.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Ability to describe and implement common software design patterns and best practices
- Extensive JavaScript experience
- Strong SQL and experience with one or more relational databases
- Development team leadership experience
- Experience with distributed systems
- In depth understanding of the architecture required to enable a Cloud based business to succeed
- Successful completion of technology initiatives and deliverables encompassing the introduction of new technology and digital platforms
- Transformation experience delivering a technology roadmap and executable projects
- Experience delivering and managing an environment of customer facing apps
- Experience implementing test automation using one or more test frameworks

**Additional desired experience / qualifications**:

- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines / tools / platforms
- AWS experience / certifications
- User Story / requirements specification writing / contribution
- Performance tuning experience using load or stress-testing tools
- Experience working in linux/unix environments
