**Womensline Crisis Intervention Practitioner**
- Multiple part-time positions across 24/7 roster
- Based on-site in Brisbane, QLD
- Womensline is a 24/7/365 free crisis helpline for women and children across Queensland experiencing domestic and family violence. We operate from an intersectional feminist framework, acknowledging that domestic and family violence is gender-based violence, predominantly perpetrated by men against women and children. We provide immediate individualised support and options to help victim/survivors feel safe again, whether they want to stay in the home, are thinking about leaving or have already left._

Womensline Crisis Intervention Practitioner Responsibilities
- Deliver immediate crisis intervention response, comprehensive safety planning and crisis counselling for women across Queensland experiencing domestic violence.
- Provide general information, referral pathways and practical assistance appropriate to the caller's needs. _E.g._, _coordinating emergency transport and accommodation, linking in with high security shelters, case management support services, emergency financial support services, and more._
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls in a professional, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental approach to ensure appropriate action is taken to maintain client safety.
- Ensure database entries across all systems are of highly quality and entered in a timely manner.
- Adhere to client information confidentially at all times.

**Bella's Sanctuary Case Worker**
- Fixed-term contract [9 months], 2 days per week [Tuesday & Thursday]
- Based on-site in GoldCoast, QLD
- Bella's Sanctuary is a safe place for women and their children to heal and rebuild after violence, providing independent, medium-term accommodation for up to five families at a time. It aims to assist women to transition into independent housing (either private rentals or public housing), while supporting the women who live there to be close to family, schools and work on the Gold Coast._

Bella's Sanctuary Case Worker Responsibilities
- Deliver strengths-based case management with mínimal intervention for clients with low support needs.
- Offer information and referrals for accessing local services including financial planning, emotional support, and legal assistance.
- Provide support for potential exit pathways, including assisting with private rental searches and paperwork.
- Coordinate smooth transitions for clients exiting the program, connecting them with relevant local services.
- Collaborate with referring agencies to identify suitable tenants with low risk and mínimal support needs.
- Maintain quality service standards, timely completion of maintenance tasks, and adherence to tenancy agreements, while also managing communal area cleaning and record-keeping.

**_ Application requirements_**
- Proven experience in at least one (1) of the following areas: Domestic, family and intimate Partner Violence, sexual violence and abuse, child protection and/or residential support, or mental health.
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work or other appropriate fields
- Well-developed knowledge and analysis of the effects, causes and dynamics of domestic and family violence.
- Significant ability to multi-task competing priorities.
- Exceptional and effective interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, presentation and engagement/consultation skills using a range of contemporary engagement practices.
- Committed to delivering trauma informed and evidence-based support to women and children impacted by violence and abuse.
- Paid Blue Card and National Police Check or ability and willingness to obtain.
- Full rights to work in Australia.
- Valid ID/driver's license.
- Willingness to attend and work on-site.
