Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Practitioner to provide alcohol and drug interventions, mental health support, group activities and dual diagnosis counselling to empower women.

About the Role
  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health and alcohol and other drug issues impacting vulnerable individuals with a strong focus on recovery-oriented practice.
  • Experience in providing person-centred care including intake and assessment care coordination counselling and crisis intervention.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing evidence-based interventions that support client engagement harm reduction and tenancy sustainment.
  • Proven ability to plan implement monitor and evaluate services and programs with a focus on continuous improvement and positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong respectful relationships with clients colleagues and service partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities including accurate record-keeping data collection and report writing.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Committed to professional development and continuous learning actively contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Familiar with participating in interagency networks promoting best practice and supporting service integration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
