Key Responsibilities:
Offer practical guidance and support to management and staff on operational matters, including recruitment, policies, procedures, awards and contracts.
Contribute to the execution of generalist HR activities.
Coordinate the performance review process for the organisation.
Raise requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with established practices.
Participate in wider HR projects, taking responsibility and accountability for tasks assigned to this role from each project.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, supported by relevant industry experience.
Ability to provide advice and support to management on complex disciplinary and industrial relations matters.
Capacity to interpret and implement organisational policies and contracts.
Understanding of Local Government employment legislation, preferred.
Consultation skills and experience working with executives.
