A fantastic opportunity presents for a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as a **National Strategic Account Manager** based in **Perth**. This role will see you focussed on business excellence and sustainable growth by identifying new business as well as managing existing accounts.
**You will be Responsible for**:
- **Develop and execute a superior customer relationship strategy,** from top-to-top through to field sales execution in order to grow and maximise Sales Revenue and Trading Margin growth
- **Develop and execute growth strategies,** forging alliances across Category and Technical Specialists to create a win-win for both the customer and Blackwoods
- **Deliver Operational Excellence** through world-class Contract Management practises and processes, creating a seamless link between the Customer, Account Management, Customer Care and the Supply Chain
- **Lead tender opportunities,** linking bid-writers, legal, pricing, technical and category specialists and other stakeholders where required
- **Lead internal communications** to bring the business on the journey, raising the commercial and customer acumen within Blackwoods
- **Mitigating risk** through stringent adherence to all Contract Management practises and processes
**Important to Your Success**:
- Extensive experience in Major Accounts or a Regional Sales role
- Exhibit strong financial and business acumen, be strategically astute, show analytical capabilities, able to engage stakeholders and display emotional intelligence
- Ability to build, maintain and develop internal and external relationships
- The ability to navigate large, dynamic businesses
- Superior communication and influencing skills to actively lead and negotiate supply agreements
- Display Blackwoods values with the ability to promote a positive team culture
- Capability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
