Our client is an Australian Commercial and Industrial Property Development firm, who are looking for a dedicated and experienced Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Officer to join their team to further enhance their DEI strategy.

As the DEI Officer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of DEI strategies, policies, and programs across our organisation. You will work closely with the leadership team, employees, and external stakeholders to foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and diversity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement DEI policies and programs that align with the company's mission and values
- Conduct diversity and inclusion training for employees at all levels of the organisation
- Collaborate with HR to develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies that promote diversity and inclusion
- Work with marketing and communications teams to develop messaging and initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion within our communities
- Conduct regular assessments to measure the effectiveness of our DEI programs and initiatives
- Serve as a resource and advocate for employees, providing guidance and support to ensure a welcoming and inclusive work environment
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to DEI, and make recommendations to leadership as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, human resources)
- Minimum seven years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion or related field
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective DEI strategies and programs
- Knowledge of DEI best practices and current trends in the field
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
