Global Diversity and Inclusion Lead

We seek a visionary professional to spearhead our global diversity and inclusion strategy.

This role involves leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy aligned with corporate objectives, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, and client expectations.

The successful candidate will develop, track, and evaluate DEI metrics, informing programs and reporting on impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to improve workforce diversity across gender, Indigenous employment, and other underrepresented groups.
  • Develop regionally relevant DEI action plans with measurable outcomes in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders, including industry bodies and community organisations, to drive positive change.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and advise on company policies to reflect leading DEI practices.

Requirements:

Essential qualifications include a tertiary degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or related field, and 7+ years of leadership experience in DEI.

Candidates should have expertise in cultural safety, gender equity, Indigenous engagement, and inclusive practices.

Experience in designing and implementing global DEI strategies is essential, especially within industries like mining, construction, or engineering.

Desirable skills include strong project management, data analysis, and reporting skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
