Social Inclusion Role Overview

This role is crucial in driving diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across our organisation in South Australia and Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion inclusion and belonging across our workforce by offering support and mentoring programs to employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote employment of individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Build strong relationships with First Nations leaders, elders and community partners to drive indigenous engagement.
  • Collaborate with local job providers and community groups to support the employment of Placemakers from underrepresented communities.
  • Manage and report on social inclusion and indigenous participation plans to ensure we are making a positive impact.
  • Design and deliver engaging and inclusive onboarding experiences, support and mentoring programs for new employees.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with diverse communities (min. 1 year) with a proven track record of delivering successful inclusion initiatives.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Community connections and strong stakeholder engagement to drive change.
  • HR-related qualifications (Degree/Diploma preferred).
  • Passion for social inclusion and sustainable employment outcomes that benefit both employees and the community.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel a must).
