**The Client**

Our client, based in Dandenong South, is a leading manufacturer of specialized trucks, who pride themselves on delivering world-class trucks.

The Opportunity

Due to exponential growth over the last couple of years, our client is looking for an Aftersales Technician for their Waste division to support our clients by providing technical and diagnostic support, over the phone or in person across Australia. Other duties include, but not limited to:

- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries (over phone and onsite)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Able to explain of technical issues to non-technical customers
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid drivers license

You will be either a trade qualified Light Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic with a strong customer service background with experience working in a similar field. In addition, you will need:

- Ability to travel freely and at short notice
- Previous waste industry experience
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Strong PC skills
- Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude
