**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

The expansion of Ampcontrol services Australia wide, has created a new opportunity for a customer centric Competency Coordinator to join the people team.
With so much opportunity and growth, 'People' are and will be our most critical component and your role will be to develop and coordinate competency programs across the Group, ensuring quality delivery of service to our business units.
Imperative to this role will be your ability to focus on positive and effective inter-organisation collaboration, including with the wider Ampcontrol Group, in order to support competency needs.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
This role will be required to provide advice to operational managers and individual employees in regard to competency/training requirements and solutions.
The functions of this role include:
- Contribute to implementation of competency management system.
- Support strategic skills development across the organisation.
- Consult with supervisors and managers on their skills development needs.
- Coordination and administration of training bookings and enrolments
- Sourcing of training programs and providers
- Monitoring progress of employees in learning programs
- Monitor quality of and feedback from learning programs
**What are we looking for from you?**
- Previous experience in a training coordination/learning and development role in a VET, corporate or manufacturing setting.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and learning management systems.
- Problem solving with the initiative to identify, recommend and implement improvements.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills.
