Multiple APS6 Project/Program contract roles with Federal GovernmentLocation: Sydney CBDStart Date: ASAPContract Length: 3-12 months (possible extension)Pay: $61.66-$69.57/hour + super Hours: Full time with hybrid modelWe are seeking APS6 Project/Program Officers to join federal government agencies for multiple positions.
As an APS6 Project/Program Officer, you'll be a key part of a team delivering on strategic projects/grant programs within the healthcare sector.
We are looking for adaptable and proactive candidates with a strong understanding of project management principles and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Project and Program Management: Contribute to the end-to-end management of projects and programs, including planning, implementation, and reporting.Grants Administration: Assist with the coordination and administration of grant programs, including managing applications, providing advice to grant recipients, and monitoring compliance with funding agreements.Strategic Initiatives: Support the development and delivery of strategic initiatives, including conducting research, analysing data, and preparing high quality reports and briefing materials.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain productive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, non-government organisations, health professionals, and consumer groups.Policy and Program Development: Assist in the development of policy and program options, including drafting policy papers, submissions, and other documentation.Skills and Experience:Understanding of government processes, Australia's health care system, and key safety and quality issues.Previous government experience is beneficial, especially with grants administration or program managementBackground in the Health sector is highly regardedStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including sound judgment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to draft clear and concise high-level documents (briefing papers, reviews, submissions, meeting papers) for diverse audiences.Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication, building positive stakeholder relationships, and high-level secretariat support.Eligibility:Candidates must be Australian Citizens to apply.Benefits of Contracting with Randstad:Access to benefits platforms with discounts at major retailers.3 weekly pay runs.Exclusive access to roles before they go to market.Employee assistance programme, including counselling services.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
