About the Role

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking an experienced Executive Officer to join our team at the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness (ACDP). As an Executive Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the ACDP Directorate in managing and administering the facility. You will be responsible for providing high-level advice and support on stakeholder and external interactions, as well as coordinating internal and external reporting requirements, planning activities, and leadership meetings.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level advice and support to the ACDP Directorate on stakeholder and external interactions;

Coordinate internal and external reporting requirements, planning activities, and leadership meetings;

Analyse complex or ambiguous issues, develop appropriate responses, and make sound decisions under pressure or with limited information;

Lead or manage sensitive projects aligned with CSIRO's strategy and research priorities;
">
Support risk management and ensure accurate documentation and reporting;
">
Build collaborative relationships across ACDP teams and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.

About You
">
We are looking for an individual who has a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, preferably biological or animal sciences, or equivalent experience in an area relevant to ACDP. You will also have excellent written communication skills, demonstrating evidence of ability to independently formulate and prepare a wide range of scientific, strategic and government communications including complex reports, analyses, plans and briefings.

You will be a confident and pro-active individual with a proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic executive team environment, and to collaborate widely both internally and externally. You will also have demonstrated experience in successful project management, including planning, engagement, monitoring and reporting.
