This includes identifying and analysing market trends and the acquisition of new clients, bidding activities, negotiating and ultimately managing the projects in the water supply sector.
It is expected that the right candidate will be pro-actively seeking networking opportunities through existing or new relationships externally with key clients as well as internally within the broader community.
The right individual will be able to spearhead initiatives and to recruit key team members to deliver new work won.Key duties and responsibilities include:Develop and implement business strategies to expand the company's footprint in the water supply sector.Identify and analyse market trends and the competitive landscape.Acquire new clients and maintain existing customer relationships.Offers, ContractingNegotiation with ClientsLead and manage projects in the water supply arena, from planning to commissioning.Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and environmental standards within the water sector.Budgeting and resource management for projects.Requirements:Master's degree in hydraulic engineering, or a related field.At least (3-5) years of experience in or exposure to business development activitiesAt least 10 years of technical experience and project management in the sector (of which at least 5 years in technical delivery), preferably in the water supply or infrastructure field in Australia.Knowledge of water supply systems, technical standards, and local environmental regulations.Excellent communication and negotiation skills and Client Relationship Management skills.Knowledge of local marketAbility to lead and motivate project teams.Team Player.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.We Offer:Opportunity to collaborate with a forward-thinking, synergistic, and innovative team.Learn from experienced professionals in a variety of fields through formal and informal mentorship.Work on live projects that impact the future of infrastructure, energy, and urban development.If you would you like to join our highly motivated and very successful team please send us your complete application
