What's the role?
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting growth in the Trade and Invoice Finance space. You'll work with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop suitable solutions, and help bring on new clients.
We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of working capital solutions who is confident building relationships and delivering value to customers. Whether you come from a BDM background or are a banker with exposure to trade finance, we encourage you to apply.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within banking or financial services is highly regarded
- Solid knowledge of banking products, with specific experience in Trade and Invoice Finance.
- Proven track record in managing complex trade finance structures (LCs, SBLCs, Documentary collections, etc.)
- Experience working with corporate and commercial clients with technical skill Credit risk assessment, collateral and working capital cycles
- Sound technical knowledge of Invoice Finance
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team environment
- Analytical thinking with the ability to use data to inform strategy
- A proactive, dynamic, and energetic approach with a genuine passion for supporting business growth
