Gateways Support Services vision is to help provide support for children and adults with a disability and their families to maximise their quality of life.

**The role**:
A fantastic opportunity to join our friendly, supportive and positive Central Intake team in North Geelong
You will take an active role in being responsible for delivering a best-practice, holistic team approach to providing our participants access to Gateways' supports and services.
**The successful applicant will demonstrate**:
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to set objectives, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines through problem solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to support participants to navigate the services and supports available that best meet their goals and needs and to provide high-quality, person-centred advice.
- Professional presentation and effective and respectful verbal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues.
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word knowledge.
- A strong knowledge of the NDIS and other funding bodies.
- Experience reading, understanding, and implementing client service agreements and enhancing client experience.
- Experience with database management.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an administration role or previously in the disability sector.
**The successful applicant will be required to have or willing to obtain prior to starting**:
- Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate (2 x doses plus booster)
- NDIS worker screening Clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Working with children Check
- Current Driver's license

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called 'Quality, Safety and You' prior to attending induction. This is a pre-employment requirement and if not completed, employment will not proceed.
