**ABOUT ACCESS YOUR SUPPORTS**

Access Your Supports is a Geelong based organisation that provides support and services to eligible participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). With offices in Geelong, Colac and Mildura and over 190 employees, AYS is dedicated to ensuring participants have choice and control to best assist them to achieve their NDIS goals.

AYS Director Ralph Menchise has brought together a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about positive participant outcomes. Not only does Access Your Supports deliver quality support services and empower participants to achieve their life goals with the services available to them under the NDIS, Access Your Supports will also work closely with participants to implement a plan that will work.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Access Your Supports services are delivered under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funded by the Australian Government. Our services aim to assist participants through evidenced based therapy interventions. The program supports participants with approved NDIS Plans.

The Business Support Officer Intake will provide administrative support to the Intake team and other business areas as required and reports to the Senior Business Support Officer Intake.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide information to potential and current AYS participants, including the process for intake, planning available supports and referral pathways.
- Provide administrative support to the Intake function including the processing of Service Agreements and booking appointments, document and information management and pre and post appointment support.
- Ensure referrals are provided to service delivery teams with accurate and complete information that allow for the timely commencement of services.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining reception services as required (such as a clean, representative office and reception area, managing office supplies and equipment)
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, including NDIA standards.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Extensive experience in an office environment with exposure to reception and broad administration.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills including the ability to work independently and as part of a close team environment.
- Ability to work with participants in a sensitive and respectful manner
- General knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
