Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant

This part-time position is located at our Central Hub in Geelong and will provide support functions to services with a focus on mental health and drug issues.

As an Administration Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for individuals with mental illness and/or drug and alcohol issues, providing effective care.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication style as required. You will also need to organise tasks efficiently with minimal supervision and under conditions of competing demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to a team focused on mental health and drug services
  • Managing data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinating meetings and appointments
  • Responding to consumer inquiries and providing information

Requirements:

  • Experience in a consumer-focused and customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Working Hours:

This role will require you to work across 7 days, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate will have flexibility in their schedule to meet the needs of the service.
