Who are we looking for?
We're currently seeking a newly qualified lawyer or an experienced paralegal to join our LOD team to work on a career-enhancing assignment with one of Australia's mining companies, primarily operating in processing of a gold mine located in Western Australia.
This assignment will see you working on a varied range of matters with providing end to end support across a range of legal, governance and board administration functions as well as board governance support.
You will also be assisting on a due diligence project so attention to detail is a must.
This assignment is based on-site in Perth and runs initially for 6 months.
To join us, you will:
Have at least 1-2 years PQE ideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms or in-house (with strong legal training)
Have at least 3-5 years experience as a paralegal in governance, legal or a executive support role.
Previous mining or contracts experience is highly advantageous.
Be client centric - commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
Enjoy partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships
Be a problematic thinker.
