About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Government team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in litigation and be passionate about taking a hands-on approach to assisting our lawyers in managing their matters.

The primary focus of the work is on NDIA and merits review matters, with some claims for compensation in the Federal jurisdiction. In this supportive and friendly team, you will play an integral part in progressing matters while receiving ongoing mentoring from a Partner, a Special Counsel, and the broader team members.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collating briefs to Counsel
  • Preparation of court documents
  • Preparation of mediation bundles and document indexes
  • Preparation of medical authorities and follow-up of records
  • Legal research and legal summaries
  • Discovery
  • Document analysis
  • Compilation of enclosures
  • Drafting letters of instruction
  • Responding to enquiries
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Paralegal who values client care and being part of a collaborative team. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt your communication style to various audiences. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork are also essential.
