About the role
Join us and lead the Property Services and Facilities Branch ensuring strategic management and operational delivery of safe, functional and community-focused property and facility services.
Responsibilities
Manage branch operations, including budget preparation, resource allocation and program delivery with safety-first leadership
Provide advice and negotiations on leasing, acquisitions, State land dealings, property market trends and cost effective management of infrastructure
Oversee the operational management and service delivery for day-to-day council owned facilities
Lead the development and implementation of long-term property and facility strategies, initiatives and policies and procedures
Provide advice to stakeholders, including Councillors and management regarding effective property services and facilities management
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications in property management, facility management or related field
Experience in achieving strategic and operational objectives
Demonstrated experience in operational service delivery in a fast-paced and complex environment
Proven capability in navigating real estate law, property titling and tenure matters
Established financial management skills
High level of inter-personal and communication skills, both oral and written to effectively lead a team to success
